Mission
– The MDSRDN project will assist rural delta communities in developing local health networks for the purpose of implementing
programs designed to address local health needs. This project will facilitate
the formation of multi-county & multi-organizational health networks in efforts to design interventions determined to
improve the health status within the local population.

Purpose is to improve the health status of residents within 41 Mississippi Delta Counties

Funding provided by a 3-year federal grant from HRSA. (8 states
participation)

This program is designed to encourage the formation of multi-organizational
health networks across county lines

The intent of this project is to facilitate partnerships within
the local community-initiated strategies to address these issues
